Hi!

My name is Holly Slater and I’m a 22-year-old graphic designer. I began my career in 2022 after finishing school and have been working in design ever since. At school, I completed A-levels in Art, Textiles and Psychology, which helped build a strong creative foundation and an understanding of how people think and engage with visual content.

Since starting my role, I’ve learned the majority of my skills hands-on and independently, gaining real-world experience through day-to-day projects and problem solving. I’m proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, and I’ve also used platforms such as Adobe Express and Canva where appropriate.

In November 2025, I successfully completed a Level 3 apprenticeship in Content Creation and Digital Marketing, achieving a distinction. I thoroughly enjoyed the apprenticeship and found it incredibly valuable, as it allowed me to expand my skill set and gain a deeper understanding of the marketing world, helping to round out my creative and technical knowledge.
